I am an Italian integrative Chartered Psychologist and a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist.
I have a flexible approach that allows me to work with Adults and Teenagers in individual, couple and group therapy. I strongly believe that real change can only be achieved through a trusting, open and supportive relationship.
Therapy cannot be effective without trust and alliance, I often encourage my clients to speak about this between us.
I have worked in the NHS, providing Psychotherapy and Counselling for different NHS trusts.
I have mainly worked with people on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disabilities in many different roles and levels, from Support Worker to Psychologist to Manager. I have successfully worked 1:1 with self-harming clients on the Autistic Spectrum providing the opportunity to learn different strategies to express needs and pain.
As well as supporting the client to build compliance and trust, my approach allows to speak openly about uncomfortable issues and to explore them in a safe and confidential relationship. As your therapist, I seek to establish a warm and non-judgmental environment that fosters a sense of safety. We will work together to achieve your own personal goals by setting up smart outcomes together.
I work with people struggling with life, relationships, stress, and managing feelings rooted in the past. Some people simply feel there have got something wrong and want space to explore this.
My way of working is integrative, drawing on different therapeutic models to suit the particular needs of each client. I am open and every time happy to discuss the way we work together. I have a particular interest in Attachment Theory and Relational Transactional Analysis.
